What is Pearson VUE test?
Pearson VUE is one of the largest global companies specializing in providing certified electronic testing. The company offers advanced infrastructure to conduct tests in a secure and reliable manner, either at their centers around the world or online through the OnVUE platform.
How do I schedule an exam appointment?
After purchasing the exam voucher, you will receive a Voucher Code. Visit the Pearson VUE website and create an account if you don't have one. Then search for the certification you want to test for, choose a suitable appointment (in-person or online), and enter the voucher code to complete the booking.
What is the difference between in-person and remote testing?
In-person test: Conducted at an accredited Pearson VUE center, where you go to the center and take the test under supervision. Remote test: Conducted from your home or office using the OnVUE platform, requires a computer with camera and microphone, and you are monitored remotely by a live proctor throughout the exam.
What are the technical requirements for remote testing?
Computer (Windows or Mac) with stable internet connection, webcam and microphone, updated web browser, OnVUE application installed, quiet and private place with no other person in the room, clean desk free of any unauthorized materials.
How long does the exam take?
Exam duration varies by certification type, but generally most exams range between one to two hours. You will be informed of the exact duration when booking the exam. It is recommended to arrive or be ready 15-30 minutes before the exam time to complete verification procedures.
When do I get the results?
In most cases, you will receive the result immediately after completing the exam on screen. A detailed result report will also be sent to your email within 24-48 hours. Upon passing, the official certification will be issued within one to two weeks.
What do I need to verify my identity?
You must bring a valid government-issued ID (passport, national ID card, or driver's license) containing your photo, full name, and signature. The name on the ID must match the name used when booking the exam. For remote testing, you will need to show the ID to the camera for the proctor.
Can I retake the exam if I fail?
Yes, you can retake the exam. Usually you must wait 14 days before retaking the exam again. You will need to purchase a new exam voucher for each retake attempt. It is recommended to review study materials and practice more with practice exams before the next attempt.
